25 Random Things

I have a confession. I’m a sucker for those stupid lists that get passed around on facebook and myspace. You know the ones I’m talking about. They warn that you will die a horrible death if you don’t re-post it and pass it to X amount of friends. Even though I know how stupid these things are I can’t resist filling them out. The latest one I got was on facebook asking about 25 random things about you. I thought I would share that with everyone.

1. My eye sight is extremely horrible…5.00 and 4.75 (for cause: see #7)

2. I once got hit in the face with a clog for making fun of a girl’s hairy arms (I’m talking HAIRY!) then she ripped out some hair that jumpstarted my receding hairline. I got the last laugh because I shaved off all my hair! She would just look weird if she shaved off her arm hair. freak!

3. I’m having a hard time adjusting to cold weather

4. I have a dimple in my chest.

5. I’m not a big fan of porn…I know! It’s weird.

6. One of my favorite movies is Transformers The Movie (Not the Michael Bay car commercial, the 1986 cartoon)

7. I’m a chronic masturbator…like 5 times just to finish this.

8. I want to race the Baja 1000 on a motorcycle.

9. I’m hoping for a 2010 motorcycle trip through Mongolia.

10. I’m super sensitive…just good at hiding it…ok not really. But I like to think I am. Hiding it that is.

11. I have a HUGE fear of public speaking, but enjoy the hell out of it after the pukey feeling resides.

12. I used to be a pyromaniac. I have burn scars on three fingers from filling up a big pretzel bottle with hairspray and lighting it. Prior to that, I almost caught our house of fire by throwing burning paper into a plastic garbage can, and, the big one, I lit a fire in a rusted trash can and it got huge. In a state of panic I knocked over the can and the entire field caught fire. It was a really large field.

13. I’m cutting things out of my life that are distractions from actually enjoying life (tv,games,etc,etc)

14. I love working with my hands.

15. working on starting a BurritoProject in Raleigh.

16. I will hopefully be a Big Brother soon.

17. I hate emails, IMs, phones, smoke signals. I prefer face-to-face communication.

18. I received anal beads from my BIL one XMAS

19. I enjoy making people laugh

20. My personality type is ISFP

21. I believe Christopher Columbus was a complete dickhead and murderer.

22. My own personal hero is a guy I used to work with, Scott.

23. When I have kids, I know they will probably mature faster than me.

24. Don’t waste your time doing a job you absolutely loathe. It’s a large part of your life that you’re throwing away. Imagine waking up everyday and your first thought NOT being I hate my job. I know its sounds like a pipe dream. But one day it will come true…one day.

    Hey there Rob. I’m going to steal this list from you and post it on my blog. Not sure when though, since I’m feeling quite lazy and sluggish to do it now. lol It’s good stuff to know a little bit about your friendly neighborhood blogger. I like your phrase for number 25. I’ve never heard of it before but it rings true on so many levels. Later.

    Hear, hear! I just picked it up on DVD about two years ago, and was so pleased to see how well it held up (in my opinion). Of course, I doubt that anyone who didn’t grow up with that series would feel the same way.

    I really liked the extra features on the DVD…especially the section where they mentioned that originally, the film started with a massive massacre of Autobots (so that they could create new characters/toys) but that test audiences were filled with crying children who had just watched their favorite toys be “murdered”. Heh.

    Ok… #10 was kind of news to me.. but other than that I think I knew the rest. I want MORE and reach deep inside to find it. Like… how much you enjoy the smell of your own farts. That kind of stuff, but that I don’t know :D

    @Andrea – enjoying the smell of my own farts is really that deep. Everyone that is around me for more than 5 minutes knows that. The only deeper things I think I could have added were I’m working hard so I can leave my great paying job. I’m considering starting my own business and I’ve written a ton of short stories that no one will ever see.

    @Metallman: Have at it. I agree it’s cool getting to know small facts about people.

    @Matt: lol They can never kill of the original autobots. They can try but they will fail. No one really cares about the Cups or Blur.
